Central Military Hospital since its inception in 1938 ranks among the top medical facilities in our country. Throughout its existence the hospital provides medical care comparable to the leading institutions in Europe and in the USA. This fact is confirmed by defending international accreditation of the JCI (Joint Commission International) which the hospital received as the first in Central and Eastern Europe in 2004.
Since 1994, the hospital is open to the civilian public and provides a comprehensive range of health care with the exception of paediatrics, obstetrics and surgery. However, it still remains a prestigious military hospital and educational and training base for military medical personnel. Specialists ÚVN are involved in saving lives in field hospitals in the international missions of the AČR. The basic objective of all employees of Central Military Hospital is to provide high quality and safe care for our patients. All modernization projects and technologies aimed at extending and improving their quality of life. The financial possibilities are constantly trying to keep pace with global health trends.
